Rental Policies

There has been an increase in the Government Room Tax to 10% that will be added to the rental rates quoted, this only applies to homes that are owned by Non-Bahamians, homes with Bahamian owners are not charged the Room Tax.

A deposit of 40% of the rental amount including the tax (if applicable) is paid upon signing the rental agreement.  This amount and the amount of the Security Deposit should be returned to Island Real Estate to secure the reservation.

The balance of the payment is required 8 weeks prior to your stay.

Please note if sending the contract and checks in the mail “Air Mail” is required and being on the islands the mail does take a while to arrive.  We will always let you know when your payment has been received via email, mail or phone.
