Geraldine Albury founded Island Real Estate in 1978. Today Island Real Estate is Harbour Island’s largest vacation rental resource and the company has grown to offer sales, rentals, appraisals, property management, concierge and provisioning services.
The success of Island Real Estate has been the direct result of our founder’s core beliefs; notably a dedication to integrity and a commitment to offering personalized service. As a Harbour Island native Geraldine is able to provide unparalleled insight into the island’s market.
In March of 2010 Alexander Alexiou purchased Island Real Estate. Alexander is a native of Nassau, Bahamas and has been a real estate broker for 11 years. Alexander is experienced in both residential and commercial real estate.
Alexander is committed to continuing Geraldine’s legacy of respectability and professionalism. Alexander takes a genuine interest in people; and looks after his clients by providing experience, advice and guidance and will spend every working minute trying to get thing right.
At Island Real Estate Alexander is committed to providing a quality service for its homeowners, renters, sellers and purchasers. Since March he has updated the company’s website to allow for easier on-line bookings and payments. Island Real Estate now offers property management for its’ home owners. As well, the company is now able to offer appraisal services. Also, Island Real Estate will now provide a concierge service for its clients. In November of 2010 Island Real Estate is excited to provide provisioning from Balduccino Fine Foods, Nassau’s premiere gourmet food store.
